(as per tcaudilllg)I'm constantly looking to align the real with the ideal.I've been more oriented toward being overly idealistic by expecting the real to match the ideal. My thinking side is dominent. The result is that sometimes I can be overly impersonal or self-centered in my approach, not being understanding of others in the process and simply thinking "you should do this" or "everyone should follor this rule"..."regardless of how they feel or where they're coming from"which just isn't a good attitude to have. It is a way, though, to give oneself an artificial sense of self-justification. LSE

Hey!
New to here and slightly nervous. I've been in some bad chat rooms online before but this one looks nice. I'm a psychology major in university and have had an odd fascination with psychology since high school. I've been hitting the books hard between classes and my social life. My favorite reading has been on MBTI and Socionics. Since discovering these I've made it my personal mission to type everyone. I can't help it, it's like an addiction. I can't really explain why. At this point I'm just eager to dig my nose into some more material and receive impressions.
So anyways hopefully that introduction wasn't too horrible

Decided to join here after reading up a lot on Socionics here.
I find it challenging and complex, but so far I think I am surviving. Kind of.
Since I feel I don't know enough, mostly I will be reading and absorbing ideas from the experts for the time being.
When will I think I know well enough? I don't know
