You have a choice (kinda, I don't believe in choice, but I left that to another thread): Fame now, and being someone to go down in the history books as one of the great minds to shape humanity trading this inexistence for a piddly amount of recognition while you were alive, or fame now, within this current life, knowing you will not amount to anything later down the road in the history books.
