Approach to making sure the kids get through

Given the level of violence in the movie

Watch X Men Days of Future Past Online For those who have yet to see it, Django Unchained stars Jamie Foxx as a slave during the pre-Civil War era of the United States. He ends up teamed up with Christoph Waltz's character King Schultz, a bounty hunter who seeks Django's help, in exchange for his freedom. In addition to becoming King's apprentice, Django is also determined to reunite with his wife, Broomhilda (Scandal's Kerry Washington). Leonardo DiCaprio plays the cruel plantation owner Monsieur Calvin J. Candie.

Watch Godzilla 2014 Online Fox has Red Band Society set to air on Wednesday night at 9:00 p.m. after Hell's Kitchen, starting in the Fall. Check out Fox's full 2014-2015 lineup here. The new Doctor Who lands this August! Or so says the new teaser that BBC America has released, giving fans of the series a silhouetted glimpse of Peter Capaldi's Doctor, reminding fans that the seventh season of Doctor Who closed out with a Christmas Special ("The Time of the Doctor"), that saw the exit of the Eleventh Doctor, played by Matt Smith, and the arrival of the Twelfth Doctor (Peter Capaldi)...

Watch The Amazing Spider Man 2 Online The teaser for Doctor Who's anticipated eighth season was posted on the series' official Twitter, which UK fans to BBC's site. But as Variety points out, BBC America also released the same teaser, which indicates an August premiere. Though neither BBC nor BBC America's teasers say exactly when in August Doctor Who will arrive, it looks like series will be returning in August on both sides of the pond:

Watch Godzilla Online Whether the season premiere will be the same day for BBC and BBC America, we won't know until the actual dates are announced for BBC and BBC America, but if there is a wait for the series' return Stateside, it evidently won't be that long. August isn't much of a wait from now, but given that the new season will allow fans to get to know a brand new Doctor, it's likely that the fandom is anxious for the series to get back on the air. All in good Time(lord). And we'll be sure to keep you posted on the official date(s) once that news is announced.

Watch Neighbors Online We've had a couple of interesting Doctor Who updates since last December's Christmas special, including a glimpse of Capaldi on set, and reports of the anticipated arrival of Samuel Anderson's character, Danny Pink. And a villain named Ms. Delphox, played by Keeley Hawes. So there's that to look forward to as well. While we're still waiting for episode titles for the upcoming eighth season of Doctor Who, we do know that Steven Moffat will be penning the first episode of the new season, which will be directed by Ben Wheatley.

Watch God's Not Dead Online Quentin Tarantino's western Django Unchained could be worked into a miniseries someday. By "could," we mean the director has an idea for how it could work, but it doesn't sound like there are any set plans as of yet. And by "worked into," we mean it sounds like he's talking about an extended version of the original 2011 film, which would included unseen footage and then cut up into a few parts and presented as a miniseries, as opposed to a really long movie.

Watch Divergent Online USA Today got the scoop on Tarantino's idea for how to present an even fuller version of Django Unchained. From what Tarantino says, he has "about 90 minutes worth of material" from Django that hasn't been seen. "My idea," the director says. "Is to cut together a four-hour version of Django Unchained."

Watch Captain America The Winter Soldier Online Tarantino realizes that people would roll their eyes at the idea of a four-hour movie, but people do love miniseries. "I would cut it up into hour chapters. Like a four-hour miniseries," Tarantino told USA Today. And he'd show it on cable television, an hour at a time.

Watch Vampire Academy Online The timing feels right to explore the subject of teens struggling with legitimate and potentially terminal health issues. It's an adolescent perspective that really isn't explored all that often on screen, so it should be interesting to see how Red Band Society takes on the subject matter. And with Glee on the way out, this may be Fox's effort to revisit the young adult genre from a different angle. I'm hopeful Red Band Society will deliver.

If this were to actually happen it would probably need to land on either basic cable or premium cable. Given the level of violence in the movie, it's hard to imagine enough footage being fit for network TV to warrant a full miniseries. But on cable, that could work, especially broken up into segments to make a big event out of it and give people a reason to tune in for each installment. Even knowing how the story ends, it would be interesting to see it presented that way with new content worked in.
