New member here.
I just purchased a very nice A6 2.7T. The owner was a microsoft geek, knew nothing about cars but took it to the shop with receipts since new. The car is amazing. I do have to say, I was not impressed with the 2.7T power...I was expecting a lot more out of twin turbos. I test drove about 6 of them and they all seemed a bit gutless....:( BUT, I purhcased the car for the AWD quattro and how amazing they are inside and out. I do plan on getting an APR stage 1 chip in the very near future. I"m not new to tuning but I have no intention on hot-roding this car outside of the APR stage 1 chip.
Looking foward to learning about these cars as I have always been a chevy guy. Prevously owned a 1991 ZR1 corvette, 91 Z28 with AFR heads, supercharged that pushed out 638 @ the wheels, and I just sold my baby...1993 GMC Typhoon that ran a 12 sec 1/4 mile. Needless to say I"m done with the hot rods and onto new things :)
