Do you know about a 5th diverter valve and disconnected vacuum hose? (With Pics)

Just like it says: I have this weird, 5th diverter valve and disconnected vacuum hose coming off of the hose at the back of the intake manifold that seems to go nowhere. The valve has the (black) "to engine" side facing the disconnected end (which still has a stock clamp on it).



I know my AWM B5 is only supposed to have 4 diverter valves - which I've recently replaced, since I kept getting the phantom P0411 code.



After doing just about everything possible to get rid of the P0411, I came across this. Does anyone know anything about it?
