Can the beep be turned off when locking the doors with the key fob?

Hi, I've tried searching and was only able to find people that were having problems with their alarms. I have a 2012 Audi A3. Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to turn the alarm armed beep off when locking the doors using the key fob? I want to keep the flashing lights so that I know it's locked and the alarm is set, but I don't want to wake up my neighbors and kids with the high pitched chirp. thanks.
