I am new to forum. Looking at a 06 A8 with 78K miles (V8 4.2), did some research and really didn't read anything negative. I thought I could collect some decent info from you guys before buying it.
What I am looking for is what am I supposed to look for when buying this car :)
Any recalls, common problems, maintenance schedule and etc. Any info would be appreciated. The owner said they serviced the brakes and flushed brake fluid and coolant at 70K, is anything else up at 78K?
Does this model have a timing belt or a chain? I've never seen any car with a timing belt that has 6 and more cylinders but still want to to make sure.
Since these are awd cars, any specific maintenance required at or around 78K?
