okay so i had to change my torque converter in my project car which i never done i owned4 audis in my life time i have done many things but clutch systems arnt in my favorite spot. i replaced it and everything is good putting it back together unit i get to the starter i forgot the wiring set up. i went to the bentley manual like it said to do but the photo said that there was two wires going to the starter one from the back of the engine bay and one from the front. the one coming from the back to the engine bay had a big connector on it which goes to the top terminal on the starter solenoid. the wire going to the starter from the front one connector goes to the terminal on the starter brace and the other on the starter solenoid terminal with the other connector from the back... please correct me if im wrong please. but after all of its back together i go to crank it up and i get a weird noise from the engine bay near the CPU. like a flow of current. followed by a high pitched noise. i didnt check the fuse tho yet nor the relays. i didnt get a scan either because i dont have one nor do i have the money. i cant take it anywhere. i was searching and people said that it could just be the ignition switch which i want to make sure before i blow anymore money on it. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!! if anymore info is needed just ask.
